5 Tips for Treating Hemorrhoids

2. Take the time to exercise regularly

By taking a 10 to 20 minute sitz bath, 2-4 times daily, this can bring heat to the area and provide relief from the pain and promote healing.

4. Keep clean the anal area

You need to wash your anal everyday while in the tub with a mild soap. You can also use the mild soap and gently apply it after a bowel movement to keep the area clean. You should refrain from vigorous rubbing of the area.

5. Utilize talcum powder

Talcum powder is typically used to soak up moisture. So, you can use this when you have finished going to the bathroom to maintain a dry area around the anus and promote healing of the area.
