Low Back Pain Cure

You have to be very careful when stretching the lower back. Most people think that increasing the flexibility of all the muscles in the lower back is a good idea. I personally do not think that increasing the flexibility of your lower back is a good idea if you have back pain.

If you have back pain you want to spend most of your time strengthening your back and not stretching it. Having a very strong core will help you get rid of back pain. Exercises like planks are one of my favorite ways for strengthening the core and getting rid of back pain.

I know when you’re in pain people will tell you to stretch. But stretching can actually cause more damage and ultimately keep you in pain longer. Whenever I have back pain the 1st thing I do is work on my posture. By standing up straight and keeping my abdomen contracted it makes me feel better. Other good exercises you can do are bridges. Bridges are a great way to strengthen your hamstrings and gluteus maximus while stretching out your tight hip flexors.

A number of people with low back pain are quad dominant. Meaning that they squat and band with their quadriceps and not with their powerful buttocks muscles. Bridges are a great way to strengthen the buttocks muscles and create more muscular balance throughout the whole body.

Instead of stretching the low back. Strengthen your hamstrings, gluteus maximus and your core. Do these exercises for a few weeks and I’m sure you’ll feel better.

I hope this information helps you meet your fitness goals.
