wow action figures
Collectors appear in all stripes, those that genuinely employ a love for which they are making collections, those that just love the chase of having the ability to complete a collection, and those who hope their investment will one day be worthwhile. One doesn’t must be one of several millions of players of World of Warcraft to collect its wow character figures. The younger collectors though, or the young at heart, could have a difficult experience resisting the urge to take the warcraft action figures of their box. The slightly older players will have the warcraft action figures coming from of He-Man figures sold in the 80’s.
You will find four main companies that started manufacturing warcraft figures since Warcraft II. These are Blizzard Entertainment, Toycom, Visionary (SOTA), and DC Direct (of DC Comics). Out of these companies, DC Direct has produced the largest line of figures, twenty five miniatures including very exclusive figures, through 2009.
Blizzard, the business behind World of Warcraft, or WoW has only released five figures. They’re Human Footman, Orc Grunt, Malfurion Stormrage, Muradin Bronzebeard, and Thrall.
Toycom has produced 6 miniatures all from Warcraft 3. SOTA produced only three figures that happen to be: Tauren Shaman, Undead Warlock, and Jungle Troll Voodoo Priest.
DC Direct released its first series of warcraft action figures in 2007. This first series was comprised of Meryl Felstorm: Undead Warrior, Rehgar Earthfury: Orc Shaman, Valeera Sanguinar: Blood Elf Rogue, and a deluxe figure, Illidan Stormrage: Night Elf Demon Hunter. DC has released five series in the time of the end of 2009.
As Steve Carell’s character, Andy, proved in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, developing a mint toy collection is usually a nice investment. Those brand new to WoW, but searching for the next “hot” collectible, should seek out these wow action figures because WoW is a Guinness World Record holding massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), holding the record for many subscribers, over 11 million. With increasingly more followers worldwide it’s likely an industry will exist in the future for all those collectors who could actually purchase the warcraft action figures now and store them. And unlike the He-Man figures these WoW action figures will not be currently being mass produced and sold in retail outlets.
