About your life in?

I love hearing about how other people live in states-or even better different countries. Can you tell me enough so I can get a feel for your environment.
Like:
I live In Southern California. It’s awesome to be 30 minutes from the beach, 40 to the highest nearest mountain, and 60 min to the dessert. Bad thing-too many people and traffic is horrible. We live in a suburban single family home and are close to great shopping and have all the conveniences. Life is pretty easy. Weather gets boring-way to much sun, but beautiful scenery with the mountains everywhere. Smog is our biggest enemy! Special events we look forward to are the L.A. County Fair, Rose Parade (and seeing the floats on display afterwards) and of course the Orange County Fair. Lots of great themed shopping areas for weekend entertainment. Born and raised here and most my family is nearby. Plenty of supermarkets nearby and of coure Costco which is the best! Low crime in our town. Overall-good quality of life!
