1. entertainment industry: feature films, television, music, radio, etc
2. tech companies
3. companies that have factories across the border in Mexico
4. real estate developers
Money seems to attract other money. California has a mild climate and an educated work force. Many smaller companies, especially manufacturing related, have moved to Nevada to escape the taxes and environmental laws California imposes on them.

In addition to what Tony said, we earned it the hard way, saved it, lived modestly, invested it, and did the right thing.
We live here because it is multicultural, the food, weather and everything else except the traffic are great.

They are doctors, lawyers, businessmen, etc.

there are so many good jobs in SoCal
my dad works for a chemical company in anaheim, there is also some fashion, entertainment and appear.
CA is a lot of fun to live in.
beautiful weather, lots to do, very nice people, good schools
